FAQ: Can you paint from two different photographs, such as a show horse and a dog, and put them both together?
Answer: There are some difficulties in combining two animals together which are very different in size. For a group portrait to work, generally the subjects need to be about the same size. Whilst it's possible to combine large and small dogs together, there is a significant difference between the size of a horse head and dog head. In this instance, I would advise two separate portraits of the animals, which could be displayed alongside each other. |
