About Julie

 


Art Lecturer and Tutor


Julie is an Education Officer at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester.

Pallant House Gallery has a dynamic and innovative Learning Programme. Julie is involved with developing programmes that support people who have difficulties accessing the arts due to disabilities, illness, injury or other reasons. At the moment, she is holding classes helping these artists to explore the current exhibition as a starting point for their own work.

She is also an art lecturer for the WEA.

Julie is currently holding art workshops for WEA as part of their community outreach programme. Here she has been tutoring in portraiture. landscape and still life studies.

 

Julie is the co-founder of Starburst Arts, Chichester

Starburst Arts is a West Sussex based day service for adults with learning difficulties. They provide a number of opportunities for people with and without disabilities to work together on arts projects. In recent times Julie has held art workshops exploring portraiture and the development of artistic voice.
