Thank you so much for your beautiful, touching portrait of Maddy. It was sad to think we had so few photos of her, but thanks to you we will now have something wonderful to remember her by.
Both myself and my husband are really pleased with it (the portrait). We think it is lovely. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for the portrait of Poppy which has arrived safely. It is an excellent likeness!
Here is a guide to the various areas of the site, grouped in different sections for ease of reference. At the home page of my site, you'll notice that it mentions I've been working as an artist for over twenty years. I've actually been drawing portraits from as far back as I can remember! I was always the one at school that spent lots of time on the illustrations and very little time on the writing!
On this page you can view examples of previous examples of commissions, with a section for head and shoulder works, examples of full body works, and portraits of dogs with scenic backgrounds. There are also pictures of dogs together in groups (these are often acheived by working from several different photos).
In this part of the gallery, you can view some of the horse portraits that I've created over the years. Here you can see several head and neck studies, and group portraits of horses. Please note that I do not undertake full body portraits of horses - I have found from experience that large sizes (e.g. 20" by 15") are required to capture the detail in a horse's face.
On this page you can see examples from some of the many cat portraits that I have undertaken. I usually depict cats as head and shoulder studies at 12" by 9" (or occasionally 16" by 12"). In this section you can also see examples of group portraits and scenic backgrounds.
On this page you can view several of my animal portraits, including pictures of rabbits, hamsters, parrots and guinea pigs. If you are interested in commissioning me to create a portrait of one of these subjects, I advise that you send me your photographs to begin with. That way I can advise you of an appropriate size for the work.
In this section you can see how much I currently charge for portraits. There is also a full brakedown of the various size options for head and shoulders and full body portraits, as well as prices for optional extras such as additional subjects and scenic backgrounds.
It's possible to order a portrait online at this site and pay via Paypal. Once you've ordered, Paypal will send you a confirmation by email. I'll also write to confirm the details of your commission and let you know if I have any questions about your order. It's also possible to order via the post and pay by cheque.
This page has an informative list of some of my most asked questions. For example. "are my photos good enough to work from?", "how long does a portrait take?" and "what size would you recommend for the work?" Discover the answers to these questions by visiting this page!
This page gives you an insight into me as an artist - what inspires me to pick up my pastels and paint! Here I also write about some of my influences, a TV commission I was involved in, and my work at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester.
This section of my website offers a comprehensive list of resources for caring for your pet, including links to dog collar suppliers, trainers and breeders, and supplements and health care sites. There's also a guide I have developed about other great portrait artists, both here in the UK and elsewhere in the world.
