It is absolutely amazing. I can not believe what a likeness you have captured! I am off to have it framed to match Ruby's picture ready for the big birthday surprise!!

Thank you so much for the drawing! I had it framed yesterday in a light grey frame and looks amazing!

I just want to let you know that the portrait of Annie-Mai arrived safely this morning. When I opened it I can’t tell you how happy I was as you have captured Annies character and features beautifully. My wife will definitely be in floods tears when she opens this on her birthday.

Hi, thank you for visiting my site and your interest in my work. Creating portraits has always been a passion of mine (even as a young child!) – I love seeking to bring out the emotion and beauty of the animals I paint. Don’t hesitate to get in touch should you have any questions – I look forwards to hearing from you!
There are a range of options when commissioning a dog portrait. My most popular choice is a head and shoulders portrait, either at 12” by 9” or 16” by 12”. There is also the possibility of creating larger full body studies, and I usually undertake these at sizes between 16” by 12” to 24” by 18”. It’s also possible to add scenic backgrounds to the work. You can see more examples of my dog portraits by clicking here.
Over the years, I’ve created portraits of several other animals including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even hamsters! As can be seen in this guinea pig portrait, owners often ask for a special feature to be including, such as favourite feeding bowl or cushion. As the size of each animal can vary hugely, it’s usually best to contact me first and then I can advise on the appropriate dimensions for the work. You can see some more of my animal portraits here.
I usually undertake horse portraits at 16” by 12” or 18” by 12” as head and neck studies, and these can be painted on a plain backdrop or with a background scene chosen by the owner. It’s also possible to remove items such as bridles and harnesses (even if these are in the original photos). A horse’s coat can often change colour during the seasons, and so I will often ask for a photo that best represents their colour. You can see more examples of my horse commissions here.
