Just a quick note to let you know that we received the portrait yesterday, suffice to say that my dad was delighted with the result and I believe he's off getting it framed as we speak.
...both Aaron and I are thrilled to bits with the portrait for Maggies 60th. We gave it to her today to allow her to frame it and she was chuffed to bits - says it's the best birthday present.
I gave it (the portrait) to my wife for her birthday and she really loves it. It's a wonderful likeness... thanks both for doing such a great job and for doing it so promptly.

There is also the option of including a scenic backdrop to the painting, such as your dogs favourite walking area or resting place.
