Julie I just wanted to let you know that (my husband) has now been given his framed portrait of Harry and was reduced to tears at the sight of it. It truly is a super likeness of our dog...

I received my portrait of Angel today. When I opened the tube with her picture in it, it was like she was still here with me. I looked at her and just cried. You really captured her beauty and spirit.

(My friend) was overwhelmed and cried, we both did. It is a fantastic picture and will be treasured for ever. Thank you again for making her birthday so special.

Hi, and welcome! Creating portraits has been something of a passion of mine since childhood and I love to bring out the inner emotion and beauty of each animal I work on. If you are interested in commissioning me to create a portrait for you, please do not hesitate to get in touch – hopefully I can answer any questions you might have.
There are a range of options when commissioning a dog portrait. My most popular choice is a head and shoulders portrait, either at 12” by 9” or 16” by 12”. There is also the possibility of creating larger full body studies, and I usually undertake these at sizes between 16” by 12” to 24” by 18”. It’s also possible to add scenic backgrounds to the work. You can see more examples of my dog portraits by clicking here.
For horse portraits, I create them as head and neck studies in a range of different sizes, the most popular being 16” by 12” and 18” by 14”. As in the example here, its also possible to bring a number of horses together into one portrait, perhaps even creating a work with different generations or horses you have owned over the years. You can view more horse portraits by clicking here.
Over the years, I’ve created portraits of several other animals including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even hamsters! As can be seen in this guinea pig portrait, owners often ask for a special feature to be including, such as favourite feeding bowl or cushion. As the size of each animal can vary hugely, it’s usually best to contact me first and then I can advise on the appropriate dimensions for the work. You can see some more of my animal portraits here.
