What can I say...I was away at the weekend and have just collected your portrait. I'm amazed, it's great - Andrew will love it. I can't wait until Christmas morning. Thank you so much.

(My friend) was overwhelmed and cried, we both did. It is a fantastic picture and will be treasured for ever. Thank you again for making her birthday so special.

I really can't thank you enough. I couldn't believe the likeness when I opened the picture it is absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to receive it and give it to my husband on his birthday, I know he will be over the moon. Thank you again....I am not sure how you can bring photos to life but you certainly do have a very special talent.

Hi, thank you for visiting my site and your interest in my work. Creating portraits has always been a passion of mine (even as a young child!) – I love seeking to bring out the emotion and beauty of the animals I paint. Don’t hesitate to get in touch should you have any questions – I look forwards to hearing from you!
There are a range of options when commissioning a dog portrait. My most popular choice is a head and shoulders portrait, either at 12” by 9” or 16” by 12”. There is also the possibility of creating larger full body studies, and I usually undertake these at sizes between 16” by 12” to 24” by 18”. It’s also possible to add scenic backgrounds to the work. You can see more examples of my dog portraits by clicking here.
I usually undertake cat portraits at 12” by 9” as head and shoulder studies, and 16” by 12” or 18” by 14” for full body works. There is also the option of creating group portraits of your cats, as can be seen in this example, and these are painted as larger works. Some owners also like me to add a background to work, with perhaps a view of their pet in the garden or favourite indoor spot. Click here to see more cat examples.
Like my other portrait commissions, I work on horse portraits from photos sent in by the owner. Sometimes the customer will indicate a preferred one for me to work on, and I can advise whether this will be possible. In this example, I created the work by piecing together several reference photos of the different horses and then arranged them together in the one portrait. Follow this link to see more examples of my past horse commissions.
