I have just been given the portrait of Brig the collie you did for my birthday, and it is wonderful, I feel you have captured his personality, and it's as if he is in the room with me.

Thank you so much for the beautiful portrait of Gemma. It arrived in time and looks fantastic in the frame...I know my friend will absolutely love it.

I'd just like to say a big thank you for the beautiful painting you did of our cat Henry who we lost last summer, you've captured his image so well.

Dog Portraits can be head and shoulder studies on a plain background, or more eleborate full body works with scenic backdrops. I also undertake group paintings of dogs from photos.

Horse Portraits like my other animal paintings are worked on from photographs supplied by the customer.
Horses can be depicted on plain or scenic backgrounds, and as group portraits.
Cat portraits can be head and shoulder works or full body studies. In terms of size, I recommend a 12" by 9" for a head and shoulders work and 16" by 12" or 18" by 14" for a full body portrait.
Over the years I have undertaken portraits of various animals including rabbits, cockatoos, hamsters and guinea pigs. Please contact me if you are thinking of commissioning this type of pet portrait, and then I can advise you in terms of sizes and options.
