Dogs are a joy to draw, and I specialise in creating lifelike dog portrait paintings in soft pastel. Portraits may be head and shoulders studies on a simple background, or full body compositions with scenic detail. I also undertake group portraits of multiple dogs from separate photographs.
Each dog portrait picture is individually commissioned and worked by hand to ensure character and likeness are faithfully captured.

Cat Portrait Gallery
Cat portraits can be created as elegant head studies or full body works. A popular size for a head and shoulders cat portrait picture is 12” by 9”, while full body portraits are often produced at 16” by 12” or 18” by 14”.
Pastel allows me to recreate fine fur detail and subtle colour tones, resulting in a natural and sensitive portrait of your cat.

Horse Portrait Gallery
Horse portraits, like all my animal paintings, are created from photographs supplied by the owner. Horses may be depicted against plain or scenic backgrounds and can also be commissioned as group portraits.
A carefully composed horse portrait makes a striking and meaningful piece of artwork for home or stable.

Over the years I have undertaken portraits of a wide range of animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots and other cherished companions.
