Each portrait is carefully hand-drawn in soft pastel, with close attention to likeness, character and expression. Over the years I have completed many pet portrait commissions of dogs, cats, horses and other much-loved companions for clients throughout the UK and overseas, creating bespoke artworks that serve as lasting keepsakes and meaningful gifts.

How to Commission Your Pet Portrait
Before commissioning your portrait, it is helpful to consider a few details so that the finished artwork reflects your wishes as closely as possible:
• Choose the type of portrait – head and shoulders or full body (see my pet portrait prices for guidance)
• Decide on the size that would best suit your space and subject (a size guide is available if you are unsure)
• Consider the background – plain backgrounds and gentle shading are included, with scenic options also available. You can discover more about this in my pet portrait backgrounds guide.
• Let me know if you would like your pet’s collar, name, or tack included
• If the portrait is required for a special occasion, please mention your preferred timescale (portraits typically take around three weeks)

Pet Portrait Commission Pricing
The price of a pet portrait commission depends primarily on the size of the artwork and whether you would prefer a head and shoulders study or a full body composition. Simpler backgrounds are included, while more detailed or bespoke settings can be discussed if required.

Printable Order Form & Postal Payments
If you prefer a more traditional method, you are very welcome to commission your pet portrait using my printable order form and payment by cheque. Simply download the form, complete your details and post it along with your photographs (or printed reference images).
This option is particularly suitable for gift commissions or for those who would rather not order online. If you have any questions before posting your form, please feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to advise. N.B. I don't cash cheques until about a week after posting, until I know that you are completely happy with the finished work.
