Frequently Asked Questions
What guidelines do you have for photos for portraits?
Clear photographs are very helpful when creating a portrait, as they allow me to capture the expression, colouring and individual details of your dog accurately. Ideally the photo should be sharp, taken in good natural light and at your dog’s eye level so that their face and features are clearly visible.
I am usually able to work from a single photograph, although some clients prefer to send several images so that I can see their dog from different angles. If you are unsure whether your photo will work well for a portrait, you are always welcome to send it to me and I will be happy to advise.
